It's hard to decide if it's the addition of Carnitor or just the recovery from

surgery. Only time will tell but I did experience some pretty uncomfortable

GERD last night and I'm sure that's a result of the Carnitor.

Uh oh, didn't know GERD was a side effect of carnitor either. (mine

has been worse and I was wondering what I am doing different). I

wonder if lowering the dosage would help.

I have GERD and take Prevacid for it. The Carnitor does bother me , but only

for a short time if I take just a small piece of ginger. It is also better

when I take right after eating. I split my daily dose into 4 times, instead

of three which also seems to help.
