Guest guest
Just got some funny email, appeared to be from Yahoo Groups, but had the telltale " document.zip " and requests that I open an attachment. It said " witoldies " instead of on it, so makes me wonder if it's associated with this group. So if anyone sees something similar, remember never to open attachments unless you ABSOLUTELY are sure that you are either expecting them or they are from someone you know (and message makes sense, not just " Hi, thought you'd like this. " ) Take care, RH
Guest guest
Yes, got the same message. I scanned the attachment and it does contain a virus. Guest guest
Did this message appear to have come from any particular listmember? I got a very strange message which I did not open on my yahoo e mail address from justagram@... who does not exist. It's very important that everyone updates their virus protection and runs it frequently in this day of so many computer viruses. Even more important, if you receive a message with an attachment, please don't open it unless you are totally sure it's safe. The list cannot get viruses because the attachment option is closed to prevent it from happening.
