I had not had sex in 3 years, and when I did (one time a few months ago) it hurt really bad. It wasn't just pain from not having sex for a while, put a sharp, stabbing pain deep inside. I went to the Dr. and they found two small plum sized fibroids (Don't know exact size). Anyway, I am assuming that they are what was causing the pain. I haven't had sex since then, so I don't have any other data. Needless to say, I am very concerned about how this will effect my future relationships. In the reading I've done I haven't seen much about this as a symptom. Has anyone else had the same problem? Obviously, as I am not having any other symptoms, I don't want to have any major procedure if I don't need to, but I also don't think that I would like to go without sex for the rest of my life.
