Guest guest
You cannot get a prescription filled for Qgel. But, I do get my insurance to pay for it. I have a letter from my doctor stating its nessity. Then I order a one month suppy and turn it in with a note that it is covered under orphan drug status. I also enclose a copy of the appeal from last year where it says it is covered under orphan drug status. They then reimburse me 75%. Tishcon does not have marketing approval, just are in trials but based on my other symptoms and my family history they approved it with the letter. I am in the process now of trying to get a letter for my son.
