Guest guest
exactly my thought - plus... a less expensive one - so the insurance company's may start to bulk at running bloodwork for the free's.... sheese! cris Re: ThyroTest Just what we need, ANOTHER TSH test... *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Guest guest
I know. Now we are probably going to have to fight harder for the frees to be tested. Dr " Well why would I want to test those when I have this nifty easy TSH test. " > Just what we need, ANOTHER TSH test... > *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV > Fat cat? Diabetes? Guest guest
The scary thing about this test is that it shows either positive or negative. And it only shows positive if the TSH is above the " normal " (whatever the hell that is) range. Val I'm thinking we should write to that company and ask them that very question!!! seriously! If they don't personally have thyroid problems, and we know the medical community believes TSH is the answer - they may just be ignorant of the true facts. If we start a letter writing campaign to them, explaining about the free's, maybe they would study it and develope it.
Guest guest
I sent them an e-mail yesterday - from a link on their web page - from a link on the site that was sent in here. It's an information link - but I e-mailed them anyway! their mailing address was on the website too. It's one way to challenge this - educate people. I asked if they were going to be developing a test for the free T3 and free T4 since those were the important levels - etc. If a bunch of people write to them in one way or another, they may actually read the information. I didn't send them references to facts - just that the facts were that the TSH only cause people problems.
