I am glad Dr Tick is actually helping you Dawn. To say that he is not

traditional is very true. I guess that is why we went back to him for my

son 's problems when the so called experts at the hospital in Madison

did not help. He helped right away. Be sure to keep after him on the

paperwork side of it--I have his wife on his case now to get that letter

written for the insurance for my son. When I called on Tuesday he actually

answered the phone but was in between patients and then she answered next

and said she would remind him. He is very, very good about remembering

things--remembered my sisters sons name and he only met him twice in 1996.

But keep after him on the paperwork stuff.

Good luck on the testing--depending on what type of test it is, our blood

tests were sent out to California and were back in about 6 weeks.

--- Thanks Janet! I can see it being hard for him to followup on

things. He seems to have a lot af different things going on. As far

as diagnostics he seems very sharp. I don't think he misses much. I

told you how he dx my nephew with holoprosenchephaly (sp?) when he

was not even his pt. I don't know if I told you that because of this

they found the mutant gene for this disorder.

Also, Dr Tick is on the list of Drs for UMDF. He is so dedicated to

his work and I have a lot of confidence in him. I hope he gets that

letter out to insurance soon. I saw him on Tuesday, the day you

called. He knows that I know you. Hopefully that is an added

reminder. They are in the process of added on to the building so he

can have his own space. Things are probably a little hectic. Talk to

you soon.

Love,

Dawn
