Guest guest
Hey there! Thanks for another reply! Yes..i'm a newbie...But I'm trying to learn more about these things called fibroids..lol I don't know of any women in my family who have fibroids, I am for sure my grandma, my mom, and my sis all DO NOT have them... My dad's side I don't think anybody has them either. So who knows! I have one question... After telling my doc about the pain I have, and when it comes and goes, and about the pressure and stuff..She says she doesn't think it's related to my fibroid. How would she be able to make a conclusion like that if she hasn't even seen me? I love my doctor, she is so sweet, and seems to know alot, and is very professional, as well as has lots of time to deal with you and has very good bed- side manner. Anyways...I think I'm supposed to talk to my nurse tomorrow, I'm gonna suggest that maybe they missed something with just the abdominal ultrasound. I'm just confused...I know I have pain and pressure and she doesn't think it's related. I guess we shall see soon! I sure hope so..cause if there is something I can do to get rid of these symptoms, I'm gonna do it! Thanks for listening to me ramble on about anything and everything! Guest guest
That's right, many women have fibroids that do not cause problems for them. I think that perhaps they are being diagnosed more these days because of the technology we have now to find them, ie., ultrasound, MRI, etc. Our grandmothers never had ultrasound.
