Guest guest
I feel so bad for you being in this constant pain. I urge you to try to find a doctor that will listen and will help you. I gotta believe that there are some good doctors in Australia...you just have to find one....I know it is a pain to try to find a good Dr. but living like you are is not quality. I know there are some ladies online here from Australia....anyone know a good Dr. for Suziedee? > Hi everyone > > I only recently joined the board, after searching for months for an > online support community like this one. Guest guest
Hi Suziedee,You've been through a lot and your treatment has been appalling,i can't believe you are in Oz.... where are you? Doctors really don't know much about fibroids and what symptoms they cause, considering how many women develop fibroids this is scandalous. You must pressure them to act eg. tests. To tell you to go home when you know something is wrong is simply neglect,we need to stand up to them more than we do. I'm sorry that I can't help with recommendations of treatment(I have polyps and fibroids) but try not to get despondent just yet,at least until you can find a GOOD gyn.Fibroids can certainly cause pain but with your other conditions you need a good gyn to evaluate your circumstances. Please tell us where you are and hopefully we can help you to get the treatment you deserve. You can also check the archives, type in " Australia " and you will get info from ladies who have come before and those that are current members..I wish you the very best of luck.
