Guest guest
This sounds just like the symptoms I am experiencing this week. Was thinking of going to the ER in the morning if the pain doesn't go away. Can an X-Ray show a cyst in your uterus? My entire abdomin swells up and is very tight when I stand. Just sitting here in misery at 4 in the morning. Have and appointment with my doctor on Friday don't know if I can make it til then. How am I going to go to work with this? Don't want to lose my job. > Hi sandy! > Thanks for one option for my pain. WHat exactly is a degenerating > fibroid? Not sure what that is.... And also, can that come on > suddenly? Guest guest
Well I have done nothing to my fibroid which degenerated during my first and only pregnancy in 1998. And I am not having any symptoms currently. I assume that whatever is left of it is still there. So I don't think there are absolutes here. I also had severe pain for close to 4 months with daily vomiting and extreme nausea. Did you have the urge to spit all the time? There is a medical term for it (hyperguesia???) - well on top of everything else, I had this too!! Re: To Sandy... That is what happened to me also. for almost two months I was in severe pain and felt sick-until they removed what was left. As I understand it, a degenerating fibroid is one that has outgrown its blood supply and begins to " die "
Guest guest
See your doc. An ovarian cyst can cause pain too. I actually think I had one of these too last summer, but did not go to the doctor, so don't know for sure. Degenerating fibroid is where it outgrows its blood supply and I think I read it can be likened to a heart attack of the fibroid (not enough blood supply). Anyway it hurts like #$%^$^$^ & & **$#%$^$. To Sandy... Hi sandy! Thanks for one option for my pain. WHat exactly is a degenerating fibroid? Not sure what that is.... And also, can that come on suddenly? I wasn't in so much pain three weeks ago, but now I am in so much pain I don't want to stand for too long, and I don't wanna even eat much. Thanks for any answers to my questions... a
