Guest guest
I agree with getting a new doctor. I am 39 with 10x11cm fibroids and I am having them out in two weeks. I also hope to have kids afterward. You are young. I am surprized you are put on meds. Many women do have children with fibroids. I think you should have children when you are ready. If you are ready and having problems having kids than consider alternatives (like having the fibroids removed and trying again). > Okay, I'm new to the message board and I read that joining one would > help me feel better about having fibroids. Guest guest
Thank you for responding . The time period she gave me also concerned me as well because I don't have many of the uncomfortable symptoms as others. I've always had a heavy period as a child. So, I started out being anemic before the fibroids came about. Losing much blood, and taking iron pills while being active in sports did not help the anemia so I went on the bc pill which finally allowed me to have a normal blood count. Being on Depro...the only symptoms I'm having right now are the cramping, sharp stabbing pains, and tenderness around and on my navel (i have an outtie). I will take your advice and try to find a second opinion. Thank you!
