It looks like I have to cancel my myo!

Hi,

Thanks to you all for all your support. I just found out this morning that the

doctor that I was referred to by my primary doctor isn't on my insurance plan

(but the facility is but who knows about the anasthesiologist (sp?)....all these

details. Maybe I should have known this earlier but I have no experience dealing

with the medical community and insurance companies. I am supposed to go in today

for a pre-op and have the myo done Wed. He charges $25 thousand for the

procedure (which sounds like more than most) I knew I would have to pay a

deductible and a percentage but I just assumed that my doctor was sending me to

another Blue Cross doc plus at the consult they took my Blue Cross Med

card....not a good suprise! I am so upset. She is leaving a msg for another doc

who does take Blue Cross but unless she can work some magic with that doc I am

going to have to wait another month or more to get the myo done now. I have my

own business and had cleared the whole month of January to do this.

I feel really frustrated I was ready to have this fibroid out and was hoping to

be feeling better sooner rather than later!
