Guest guest
Jamy, I have mostly been taking Solgar's Gentle Iron, which is 25mg iron bisglycinate (supposedly much higher absorbed than ferrous sulfate). I also have taken Feosol, which has 65mg elemental iron (and says " dried ferrous sulfate 200mg / 65mg elemental iron, eequivalent to 325mg ferrous sulfate per tablet " ). Each product recommends one capsule/tablet a day. Thanks, > what iron are you taking and what dose > > >From: " Conner, Psy.D. Guest guest
You should be taking at least 650 mgs a day of ferrous or the Feosol at 2 times a day. The package is not talking about people like us. I had to take 3x a day to get my levels up, but yours are twice as high, so I would do the 2x . Go to www.goodhormonehealth.com and look up low ferritin. > >Reply-To: NaturalThyroidHormones >To: NaturalThyroidHormones >Subject: Re: new labs - feedback? Guest guest
Thanks, Jamy. I take it that the Feosol is as good as any other source...I will try what you suggest for 2 months and re-test, to see how it's going. > You should be taking at least 650 mgs a day of ferrous or the Feosol at 2 > times a day.
