Guest guest Posted December 16, 2004 Report Share Posted December 16, 2004 Boy, I don't know if I am just tired of my last year, or if it is my thyroid level, or I am sinking deeper into perimenopause. Have any of you experienced bouts of irritability, uncharacteristic short- temperedness as part of your thyroid journey? I reduced my dose a few days ago, am now taking 2 1/2 grains. My muscles feel pretty good,my pulse is 76 and my temp has been a little lower again (it had been running pretty normal for a while.) My last bloods showed T4 on the lower normal side, T3 was over normal and TSH was totally suppressed. I reduced my dose because I was experiencing black depression, jaw tension and loss of appetite for the week I had my period and several days beyond.
