Guest guest
I am a newbie here and enjoying all the informative info, thanks to all of you. My husband had one lobe sugically removed about 10 years ago due to suspected CA; on the table it was negative but further lab tests were not totally conclusive and at that time we chose to have the second lobe chemically removed. Of course he was put on Synthroid after surgery. We were totally ignorant at the time, but have certainly educated ourselves in recent years. We were fortunate enough to have a physcian at the time (we got educated!!) that all though reluctant helped him get regulated on Armour. However this doctor will only give him a three month script without seeing him and with no insurance the $150 office visit along with continual testing was killing us so I started ordering from MyRx with great satisfaction. However I got caught in their shutdown with my current order. They debited my checking acct, but at this point I have no hope of receiving my order. I did order NatureThroid from IAS last night. My biggest question right now, does anyone have any " inside " help for me to get my money back from MyRx?? I have also been on Armour for hypo, but with our supply dwindling, I have chosen to use some NutiMeds that we have and Gaia Thyroid Support, because I feel it is far more important that my husband has the Armour (actually generic-Mexican Thyroid). Neither Armour, nor generic have been available at the Mexican Pharmacies over the border from Yuma in the past two months either. Did manage to get some Cynomel to try to keep us afloat in an emergency!!
Guest guest
Hello and welcome! I'm new myself so don't have any information for you... ....however, I'm wondering about the Mexican pharmacies not carrying Armour! I'm a Yuma native myself (newly married and living in Oregon now) and I was getting ready to have a family member back home get me some Armour in Algodones so I could stock up. Have the pharmacists there given an explanation that you know of?? I'm fortunate in that I have a doctor that prescribes it for me, but I have absolutely no " backup " or emergency meds. He only prescribes a month or two at a time since I'm new to it and in the process of finding my right dose. Just curious if you had any other information! I wish you and your husband the best...you've come to the right place for help! ~~ > Neither Armour, nor generic have been available at the Mexican > Pharmacies over the border from Yuma in the past two months either. > Did manage to get some Cynomel to try to keep us afloat in an > emergency!! > >
Guest guest
> > Have the pharmacists there given an explanation that you know of?? : Thank you for the welcome. It is my brother-in-law & sister-in-law that are snowbirding in Yuma from Washington state that have tried to get the meds for us. The only explanation they have had for us is " currently out of stock " . They usually patronize the Purple Pharmacy, but said they had checked others in the area to no avail. The will try again in a couple of weeks. They are " laying low " because the border checks have been monitored more lately and they usually try to stock up for a year not just for themselves, but other family members too. They did manage to get us some Cynomel (generic Cytomel). At this point we are willing to take any strength of Armour or generic Mexican Thyroid!!
