Guest guest
Hi everyone, I have been so busy and have missed reading your messages and posting. Wanted to let everyone know my son Jake is down to his last 5 weeks in his DOC helmet. We have seen great improvement and are so glad we made the committment. His head has rounded nicely at the bottom, but there is still flatness at the top. I don't think I want to go for another helmet because of his age - he just turned sixteen months. I think I will be satisfied with the marked improvement - his head will always be a little flat but nothing close to the problem when we first went to Cranial Tech. Our OT recommended getting an exit cast for Jake. I am wary because I hated the casting process and am not sure if it worth going through. Can you advise if anyone has had to make the same decision? Does anyone see an important reason to go through with it? Our OT said it will be good to have a cast to track the changes and record the final measurements. Any advice will be helpful! Thanks so much. Jake - 16 months - DOC band Cranial Tech - banked 3/10/
