Hi Margreet! Hey, that's not 2 cents worth! That's $100 worth of

good info!! grin. That's what is so great about this group.

Let me clarify something here, just in case there is a

misunderstanding with new folks: it is wonderful if folks try adding

T4 to their Armour, and get good results. A few here have done just

that, and it has worked.

What I am trying to tell folks is that before you consider adding T4

to your Armour, at LEAST try upping your Armour to see if the raise

removes the lingering symptoms. THEN, if you find you'd like to

experiment adding the T4, go for it!!

Of, like yourself, if raising causes issues that don't seem to

working right, then adding the T4 might do the trick. It sure is

great to hear what it did for you!!

Over the 2 years that this site has been existence, I've seen a few

folks fail to go high enough with their Armour, still complaining of

symptoms and thinking the Armour wasn't doing the job. Once they

raised, the symptoms abated. And by raising the Armour, folks get

the benefit of the added T4 plus the added T3, T2, T1 and calcitonin.

There is a possibility that you are converting, Margreet, and that

adding the T4 helped because you are converting. And maybe, upping

the Armour the way you did didn't work because it was too much

direct T3. Who knows. Don't you wish we had a doc here who had ALL

this knowledge and could give us the biological info we need!! LOL.

Margreet, you had painful breasts when you were on 1/2 Armour and

1/2 T4?? How much of each were you on?? That is interesting. Painful

breasts are usually due to estrogen dominance, so it makes you

wonder why you would have estrogen dominance when you had, in

essence, lowered your direct T3 because of the lowering of Armour.

hmmmmm There is so much to learn!!
