Re: Lerman Helmet vs. Doc Band

There is also a DOC Band clinic in San Diego that does free

evaluations. The Tuluca Lake clinic is a licensed center so they do

charge initially and that fee would be put towards the band if you

got one.

I was just at a moderator conference at the Cranial Tech corporate

offices. I was highly impressed. Their quality control is

excellent. I'm a Quality Lab Supervisor/Engineer for my real

job ;) We also got an overview of their training program. So if

you have some doubts about Lerman due to comments on the board I

would make the initial trip to a DOC band clinic and then go from

there. They may send you home for more repo - it has happened

before. We used to drive 300 miles round trip (nothing compared to

some folks). We did it for both children (my girls are 2 yrs

apart). It seems I produce plagio & tort inutero, so if I have a

3rd we will probably be back.

Also, there are free flight options through numerous charitable

providers. You have to ride in a small plane, but it would be an

option.
