Guest guest
I went and got bloodtests then got hemoglobin and bloodpressure. Hemo is 14.9 was 17 Blood pressure is 128 over 74 was in the 150s over 90s. Been on Armour for a month. I was so afraid to get my bloodpressure checked. What a big surprise!!! Also went to the pharmacy to ask the pharmacist what doctor here prescribes Armour. She said she didn't know if she could pull that information from the computer. What a lie huh? Maybe her husband is a doctor huh?heeee! chuckle The doctor does not know that I am selftreating yet. If he has any questions, like why my TSH is 0.00, then I will tell. He would probably want me to do more tests for pituitary problems. It has been suppressed even when hypo. Did some research on radioactive iodine. It says the TSH is not a good indicator of thyroid function after RAI. The ft3 and ft4 needs to be checked.chuckle chuckle!!!!!
Guest guest
Congrats Betty! My blood pressure went from 195 over 97 to 100 over 68 with changing form Synthroid to Armour. I also stopped the three meds I was taking for high blood pressure, don;t need them now! I have also added in sea salt to my foods and I believe that has helped my fluid retention and high blood pressure. Not ONE doctor ever suggested that my blood pressure might be due to the fluid retention from hypothyroidism. It was ! *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Diabetes? They would rather prescribe bloodpressure medicine, high cholesterol medicine. It just makes me want to puke. We ought to be able to live a little longer now. I'm sticking to Armour for sure. > > --- > Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. > Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). > Version: 6.0.807 / Virus Database: 549 - Release Date: 12/7/2004 > >
Guest guest
Hahahahaha, yes, mustn't forget the Cholesterol meds... I have been prescribed them about 20 times over the years and never took them. I had read a LONG time ago about hypothyroidism and high cholesterol and knew what was causing it. I also knew the cure but couldn;t get a doctor to prescribe Armour for me! *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Diabetes? Guest guest
I took a statin that the nice doctor prescribed to me because my cholesterol was 304. I said okay I will try it. When I started getting very hypo, and on the statin, my upper shoulders started hurting. Then my legs and feet. I went to the docs office in so much pain, couldn't hardly walk. Practically in tears from so much pain. The FNP told me to quit taking them.Quit taking it, about 3 days later the pain started to subside. Never, Never will I take a statin again. I don't know if I can say the name of it. It is a very popular statin that starts with L. T wrote: Hahahahaha, yes, mustn't forget the Cholesterol meds...
