Guest guest
Hi, I haven't had a chance to read any posts lately so I've got a lot of catching up to do(: Just any update, I quit the 25mg of Synthroid cold turkey and stared on the generic Armour 30mg in the morning (thinking about adding another 30mg in the evening). I've noticed that my skin is softer, I'm much warmer and I'm feeling pretty good mentally. The only thing is I feel like I'm retaining a lot of water, which I wasn't before. Is that normal? Has anyone else experienced this and does it go away once my body gets used to the Armour? Also, do most people need to take 3 grains to achieve optimal results? That seems like a lot to me. I'm only 31 years old so I don't want to cause any long term damage. Is anyone feeling well taking 1 or 2 grains? Thanks for all the great advice in advance(: Mel
Guest guest
Fluid retention is a VERY hypo symptom! It can also be caused by low sodium. Do you restrict your salt intake at all? I would suggest adding sea salt to your diet. Not tons of it, but get in the habit of adding some to anything you might normally salt. Between the additional salt in my diet and more Armour I have quit the fluid retention that was threatening to cripple me. I used to gain & lose 20 pounds in a DAY! Nothing but fluids. My retention was strange.. I would wake up more swollen all over, hands face, and full feeling chest and short winded.. Then as the day went on some would go away but what remained was my feet & legs swollen terribly. I was also on fluid pills from my doctor and two blood pressure meds which I think were making it all WORSE! *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Diabetes? Guest guest
Ok, well, maybe I'm just not on a high enough dose yet. I decided to take a full grain this morning and so far I'm feeling good. I know I get plenty of salt, probably too much(: Thanks! > Fluid retention is a VERY hypo symptom!
