Guest guest
jamy, this is a great site..and the iron deficiency answered several questions for me. in fact, i'm sending that page to my doctor along with a letter questioning her assessment that my ferritin was normal (it's obviously low) and pointed out that it was actually lower than shown if she's going on the assumption my TIBC is low because of antibodies. If that is the case, the ferritin is falsely elevated because of same. I think the TIBC is low because of malabsorption actually. But anyway, this is a great site...and yes..now I understand why Janie is all the time saying " have you had your ferritin checked? " thanks, gals. Oh - one question...I thougt Iron Sulfate was the treatment of choice for iron deficiency..but I see your doctor recommends ferrous sulfate. can you tell me why - and what the difference is? Guest guest
same thing, it is the dose he uses that is not common. It seems that only in the last year are most people understanding how our iron levels are so strange. >From: nc2406@... >Reply-To: NaturalThyroidHormones >To: NaturalThyroidHormones >Subject: Re: www.goodhormonehealth.com >Date: Tue, 7 Dec 2004 14:30:29 EST >
