I really don't know. I've thought about it a lot. I think maybe it's their training. That a TSH thyroid test is the ONLY way to determine hypo...and they just don't use their brains. Maybe they are worried they'll be liable if the TSH isn't over the MAGICAL number that they'll be sued if they give thyroid meds. It's really all a mystery to me.
