Guest guest
Is there another treatment for low pituitary function? Or will correcting the thyroid also correct the pituitary? My friend had her pituitary gland injured in an accident & it stopped working altogehter. I'm sure she has thyroid deficiency too. She's also diabetic. Caroline Re: Digest Number 2023 A low TSH with a low T4 can be indicative of a pituitary problem-- i.e. the pituitary is not sending a message via the TSH for the thyroid to produce more! Anybody else have an opinion?? It would have also helped to have seen a free T3. Another stupid doc for not doing so. Janie
