but since I take a divided dose of Armour...looks like I'm gonna have to

start waking up in the middle of the night to take a few things so as they don't

interfere. :)

LOL- I think so, but I don't remember. Personally I've gotten the

Iron from Wal-Mart, it's the only place I can find 28mg. Everything

else seems to be much less than that.

The iron seems to affect the hypo drugs, and (from a little reading)

not the hyperT drugs. From what I looked up Methimazole is for hyperT,

right? I don't see interaction to iron. So I'd take the iron in the

pm, around 8-9pm.

Well, I disagree. The iron is in the Vitamin anyway, and I have felt better

taking them. I have never heard of not taking iron supplements. Why would you

say this?

I had wondered about this..as I am sure i have malabsorption issues. Was

your ferritin out of range or just low? Did they give you injections at the

doctor's office...and for how long?

I had low iron also and took injections. They seem to work faster and

absorb directly in the blood. Tablets are known for absorbtion issues.

$350. an hour is totally absurd, IMO. But I know how it is. An excellent

chiropractor I know who has a cold laser (a wonder-worker detox machine) charges

$250. an hour. Way outta my $league$ now...tho I did try it once 3 years ago.

From: JAMY

I couldn't afford to go to the DR that often. My insurance wouldn't cover

that amd my DR is in LA at 350 per hour.

yes, it is very high, but most Dr's were not treating what was wrong with me

but still had me going every 6 to 8 weeks and I was getting sicker and

sicker and this DR thinks unless really needed, 1 or 2 times a year is

enough to see him. he emails his lab orders and calls in scripts. I feel

guilty they small amout I see him. I even wonder if I should just send him

350 so I don't have to drive 2 1/2 hours in each direction.

Only my B12 showed up low. Ferriton was ok which I thought was wierd. The

doc gave me injections weekly in her office for 3 wks and then monthly after

that. I haven't been back to get my blood drawn yet to see how it's going.

did you find it necessary to use anything for the side effect of

constipation? although with my malaborption/leaky gut...that might be a side

benefit :)
