OMG, I know exactly what you mean! I am the same way and I have been blaming

it on premarin!

I do some baking and portrait photography (LOL, I know it sounds like a

weird combination) but, I just can't function if I am distracted while I am

doing either,

no telling what I might do. I have a one-track mind that's for sure, I

definitely can't multitask.

I can't even remember if I have taken my meds or not or which ones I have

and haven't taken if my husband or son interrupts my " process " .

LOL, I want a brain too, Kathy! My husband wouldn't let me touch his books,

I don't have a clue about any of that stuff.

I have read that premarin causes brain fog - that low estradiol is often the

cause, but I certainly don't know that to be true, some of the other women

could probably tell us about estradiol and whether or not it is important.

Once I get switched to Armour instead of the Synthroid that I am now on, I

will need your help to get off of HRT. I can only do one thing at a time

though. I get stressed out when I am doing or have more then 1 thing to do

at a time! I hope this changes when I get off my synthroid!

If my husband ask me to do 2 things, I start to freak out! HE will be

fortunate if I get either done. Anyone else have this problem? Can't get a

bill made out and get to the PO. I'd rather scrub the toilet then do brain

work!

My hubby owns a construction business and I am the book keeper! Can you

imagine what shape our books are in???? LOL I can't wait to have a brain!

:-)) I feel like the Lion, Tin man, whoever, on the Wizard of Oz show, the

one that wanted a brain! LOL

I had HypoT symptoms for 8 years before the test finally showed that I was

HypoT. What does that tell you??? I thought I was loosing my mind! Not a

good feeling.

I was able to get off Premarin with using a combo of Progesterone cream

and Oestrogel.. But I have no Osteoporosis, far from it! Weird as I had an

early hysterectomy (I was 27)and have been on thyroid meds for 30 years.

Premarin was part of what was killing me 6 years ago when I was listening to

doctors! I needed it as I had VERY strong hot flashes and night sweats and

horrid mood swings that I couldn't stand, but I wish I had tried the creams

long ago. The tests that made doctors think Osteo was made worse by thyroid

meds were done with Synthroid! Armour with it's calcitonin is another thing

entirely and no tests have been done with it optimized and bone density that

I know of. The other NATURAL thyroids have Calcitonin as well and in animals

it has been found to control calcium loss, so I really feel it would in

humans as well. You would need to dissolve the natural thyroid meds in your

mouth though to get the best results from the Calcitonin in the thyroid meds

as I! believe stomach acids destroy it.

, What brand of Progesterone cream are you using, I would have never

thought of getting it on EBay.

I am going to order the Oestrogel/estradiol cream you gave the info on, that

is the best price I have found.

I will start the thyroid " plugging " with my a.m. dose ...lol

Yes you can still melt it in your mouth with that dose. Most people put it

between their gum & cheek like a plug, LOL. I guess on my hormones as I just

have no money nor faith in testing anymore. I use Progesterone cream I buy

on Ebay and I use it 3 days then the Oestrogel 2 days then repeat. This has

worked well for me for about 3 months now. I was using just the Progesterone

cream for a couple years but was having lots of trouble sleeping from the

night sweats, and had leaky bladder too. Really bad! So I started the

Oestrogel which is pure Estradiol, which I buy online too.
