Guest guest
Nothing silly about it at all. I'm 68, my dementia-stricken/stroke-victim mom's 91, in a nursing home, barely coherent since 1989. I've missed talking to her ever since & having her be the vital, strong, humorous, compassionate woman she always was in my life. My 42you daughter would miss me too were I dead or just an existing vegetable. She tells me that often on the phone, saying I've always been her role model. What a wonderful compliment from one's child. She always said we were " best friends " . She's been missing me awfully much since she moved to Oregon 4 years ago & I'm still in California...we've seen each other only twice in 4 years on short visits. It's sad. Caroline From: Kerry man, I miss my mom, probably sounds silly for a 46 year old woman to be saying that, but, she was the greatest! Guest guest
That is too young to die. I'm 68 & think I'm too young to be having so many serious dis-eases that feel like they're killing me & prolly are. I'm not at all ready to exit this world yet & hope I can stick around for at least another 20 years or so. The women on my mom's side of the family lived into their 100s. My mom & her 2 sisters are in their mid 90s & still alive. But none of them had the kinds of multi-health, structural problems I'm having. Neither does my older sister. Don't know what happened to me. Black sheep I guess....baaa baaa...bah!!! I feel the looking for the Golden Fleece here to continue living & being healthy & active & become a centinagarnian. There's gotta be some answers some place. Like a miracle or two?? What are my chances?? LOL!! Caroline From: Kathy No it is not silly to miss your mother! My mom died 7 years ago and there is not a day that goes by that I don't miss her! I'm 49 yrs. old. She died when she was 63. Kathy
