Guest guest
I started on l/4 grain Armour from myrxforless Nov. 3rd. It's now increased, by a l/4 grain per week, to l 3/4 grains. I'm still sleeping like the dead tho. Too tired, in too much pain & too depressed to do much of anything...not even THINK of cooking for myself or anyone else except a few things in the microwave for myself so I don't starve. My hands, feet, nose did get warmer tho after I reached 1 grain. That's the only improvement I've noticed so far. But my hand joints & trigger thumbs are still aching & hurting so I keep dropping things & have no strength in them. That's another reason I can't cook or prepare food, let alone do much else. Writing with pen or pencil hurts my hand too much so don't know how I'm going to get my holiday cards written & mailed either & having trouble writing checks/paying bills, filling out all the forms I have stacked up in my desk basket. This year I also cannot manage putting up a tree or decorating my house for the holidays either. Looks like Christmas will be just as lonely, desolate, dull & loveless as Thanksgiving was for me. All I want to do is sleep & not BE here at all. Just my experience so far. And hoping this gets better. Caroline Re: Another question... > > Hi Everyone; > > I started armour thyroid 10 days ago. Guest guest
Caroline! {{Hugs}}}I am so sorry! I had earnestly hoped that things would have improved for you by now. Do you think that maybe an addition of t-3 alone would help? Maybe you can ask your doctor about which hormone affects your specific symptoms. I heard somewhere that it is t3 that affects mood , energy, and metabolism. Keep in touch with us during this bad time. We'll help you hang in there! Guest guest
Thank you, Betty. I think on armours website, they state that most people start on 30 mg (rather than the paltry 15 mg I was started on!); and then increase from there. Also, most sites state that 1 grain s when it's considered a " potent " dose; and recommends that you move with caution from that point on.
