Guest guest
Hi Betty, Yes, selfmedicating is the only option for us RAI people! Especially for those who got (too) many millicuries. I found out that many people who got a lower dose are obviously still able to convert T4 into T3 (and produce the other T's as well) since they feel fine with the synthetic med. Not for us! Take care, Margreet. > > I had graves and took the RAI. Never could find a doctor that > understood my situation. I am very happy self medicating. Thanks Margreet, I don't even know how much RAI they gave me. It took 6 months after.Plus I was on PTU. It just hit me like a rock. My stupid doctor wanted me to keep taking the PTU(only at a lower dose). I told him I was going off of it(I tapered it off). He is not my doctor anymore thank God. I am my doctor.LOL LOL
