I think " vivid imagination " should be added to the list of hypo symptoms. :)

Seriously, that swelling (I guess the same fluid that can occur elsewhere in

the body) is also responsible for the problem some folks have with hearing

when hypo. I was starting to get that...and I just thought it was old age. I

was wrong...I hear much better now.

Thanks, Cindi, for letting me know about the ear canal swelling in

Hashimoto's. I've been thinking the worst... that the antibodies

have been attacking my ear canal or possibly the yeast that I know

is in my sinus' have attached to the ear canal damaging it plus the

antibodies attacking the yeast that's attached to the canal.

Is that crazy thinking or even possible???

Thanks, Crystal

When I was hypo, I could not hear very good. My husband got tired of

me saying HUH? WHAT DID YOU SAY?

  • 3 weeks later...

I STILL do that! Sometimes, I don't know what he said, but it slowly sinks

in. Like I could have asked him to repeat

It, but I don't. Then it's like the words are muffled and gradually become

clear in my mind. Weird!
