Guest guest
Mine was diagnosed after a particularly nasty fall at work 3 years ago. It took months to get a referral to an orthopedist (ah, worker's comp...) and then I discovered the first doctor treated my ankle incorrectly. So now I get to wonder if my ankle would have actually healed if it had gotten the proper course of treatment. Now I have lost about 60% of the cartilage and it has worn through to the bone and the bone is wearign away too. Do you take anything for your arthrosis? I was taking Vioxx, but it seemed to stop working (and it never got rid of the pain anyway), so now I just bear it and take Tylenol when it is especially painful. I tried asking my ortho about Celebrex, but he said it wouldn't work for me (and of course wouldn't say why) and wouldn't let me try it. > , > Same here...mine is arthrosis of hand(s). > Seems the joints just plumb wore out-some all the way through the cartilage to the bone. <g> > CindyH. > Wisc. > > >
