Yes this is what the packaging says but I have never had any trouble whatsoever with the patch and hot showers, bath or my hot tub/spa. Again everyone is different :-) But it indeed should be something you are aware of. It would be like getting a stronger dose so he may experience more side effects if this happens. Hugs, B.
