The RSD started in my right knee 4 years ago when I got hit in the back of my knee by a car. I was just diagnosed with Fibro last year (july 2003), although my pain doc thinks that I've had it ever since I had my oldest daughter 9 1/2 years ago, because it runs in my "Family". My Birth Mother was diagnosed with it Jan 2003......and my birth father has Insulin Dependant Diabetes and has to give himself shots 3 times a day. So, it looks like I was going to be stuck with something one way or the other anyways. My original SSI case was for just RSD, but now its kind of grown to RSD, Fibro, Severe Depression with Suicidal Tendecies. (or so they say) Oh, and now I can also add DDD to the mix.....Degenerative Disc Disease....all thanks to the RSD. Hope you have a Great Christmas this year.....right now, I'm just wishing that it was all over and I didn't have to mess with any of it!
