rhinocort aqua spray is what i spray on before i put a paon patch on.

it is by perscrition. i do not know hpow it works but it sure does help

my skin from breakig down with the pain patches. hope this helps you.

Thanks, Cathy. I'm just at the end of the second day with two patches on and already m skin is getting red and irritated. Although I hate the prospect of still one more co-pay, if it will help the skin get less infamed it would be worth a try.

Barb - Prednisone is one of the things that we are supposed to avoid. However, I don't believe that cortisone has been "outlawed" as of yet. With any luck Dr Gentlesoul will have some ideas as to what to do about the itching when you see him. And stick to your guns about the slow and steady pace plan.....enough with the skipping all over the place plan he had going. Time to try your way for a bit. Feel better. With any luck Dr Gentlesoul will have some ideas as to what to do about the itching when you see him.
