Chrissy,

I am glad that you can get those done closer to home, what I am wondering is, when I had my 3 done I was given some sedation, I didn't sleep totally, it just relaxed me, but I had to have someone drive me home. So my question is Do they not give sedation for these blocks? Just curious.

Dawn I totally agree with you that stress can cause you to become ill. I read this study once long ago, that a college did some research and found out that stress actually reduces your imunity to diseases especially contagious ones. When Linsday was doing her last year of classes, she had a very heavy load, she was always getting colds, it seemed like she had a cold year round. She does have allergies but she would run a temp and cough. This year she hasn't been sick much at all.

I hope you both have a great weekend.

Lin

I am also glad that they are going to rule out the cancer for you also! I think it will give you big relief to know that stress can play such a horrible role on our bodies and cause us to get so sick! I know this to be a fact with me! Having terrible problems with the disc in my neck again, but believe it is all the stress of the Holidays and recently getting sick with the Bronchitis and Sinusitis! I would give anything to tell someone that I was healthy for a change, wouldn't you?

Well please keep us all updated on what is going on with you and try and rest and relax for a while! I know the tests for the cancer will come back fine! Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and Best Wishes to you and your family. Have a Great Holiday and LOL always!

Lin,

If Chrissy goes to Dr. Rosenthal, my neurologist for the blocks, she will not be sedated at all. He uses lidocane and thats it! I still would not go by myself, but it was great not being sedated to get the injection. That is why I am letting him do them instead of my pain doc who knocks you completely out! I just do not think it is all that healthy to keep doing and would much rather be a wake if I could!!!! LOL
