Guest guest
Laurie, Sometimes when I get a hot flash and no not the menapausal type just from the RSD..I can get dizzy and faint and sometimes nauseous. I will be comfortable one minute and then sweating profusely the next. I don't have to be moving around to have them i could be sitting watching a movie. I could be in 20 degree weather or 70 degree weather. I could be asleep. It happens when it wants to and nothing seems to trigger it. I also get the opposite extreme..I get so cold my toes and fingers ache like I have frostbite. I can't get warm no matter how much clothing i have on..or even a heated blanket. I was told by my doctor both are rsd related. Hope you have a great weekend...Hugs...GinnyRoepkelaurie@... wrote: Well it's been 2 really ruff days. I have been suffering form side effects of Cymbalta. Dizzy, prickly and feeling out of body. So I have slept a lot. If it was a good high I would have enjoyed it but no. So Doctor has lowered the dose and tomorrow I will start it. I want to skip a day and let my body recovers but the nurse said no I would start feeling withdrawal. I have a question for those of you who sweat more than usual. I get these periods of heat waves with immense sweating. They come for awhile then stop for days and then start all over. I can get just nauseous when they happen. Doc said there from my dysfunctional sympathic nervous system. Do any of you guy get them too? Well I'll sign off. Hoping for all of us to have a Merry Christmas and a New Year with less pain. Luv Laurie
Guest guest
Ginny and Laurie, I have the same problem. Today I was freezing, but when I got up I was instantly hot and sweating. I really hate the dizziness and the nausea. Nice to know that this is normal. Hope you both have a great Friday, Lin -- Re: Another Thrusday Laurie, Sometimes when I get a hot flash and no not the menapausal type just from the RSD..I can get dizzy and faint and sometimes nauseous. As of right now they have passed but they can be awful sometimes. The weather has gotten much colder here and I think that makes a difference, now Im just warm and comfortable when everyone else is freezing. I hope your body finds a happy medium soon!
