Guest guest Posted February 23, 2004 Report Share Posted February 23, 2004 Hey Everyone I was just talking to my cousin and apparently her best friends son has EDS (I am assuming Type 6, she says it is the one that affects the eyes most). However I am confused by one thing. She said he got a diagnosis after having a few eye surgeries for an injury and then a urine test was done to confirm the diagnosis. I dont know if he has affected joints or skin or anything like that but I didnt think that a urine test could confirm anything. I thought only a skin biopsy could and only in the classical type.
