,

Interesting study. I was never a user (honestly) but when I had RSD

in the 90's a friend suggested I try it. At first I'd say it helped

temporarily but after a short time it started to do the opposite and

actually intensified the pain in my foot and lower leg. It felt

like it was throbbing with every heartbeat. It was too much and I

stopped using it. I wonder if it was just me or it the effects

change after you use it for a while. Interesting...... I notice we

have at least two members that live within driving distance to .

Also glad to hear that your Mexico trip was fun! I thought of you

while I was on my trip to CA. I looked on the map and found your

town much farther south (closer to Mexico) than I had imagined.

Hoping for pain free days for all, Lyn

Lyn--Yep, I tried a little 'mary jane' too when my rsd was in the vry first stages, off the charts!!! I was willing to try ANYTHING!! Well, like you it worked for me for a while and I was feeling nooooo pain. Then about 30 minutes later I thought I was getting hit by a train in slow motion. All the pain I had had before I inhaled had come back double-time. I was miserable for a very long time. Until that stuff got out of my system. Whoa!!!

Where were you in Cali? We may have been able to hook-up....lynlorraine wrote:

I was in Antioch about 40 miles east of SF. Probably 500 miles or so

from you. Looks like you and Cliff or not to far from each other.

So! Your experience was similar! I wonder how this research will

be conducted. I noticed that they wanted " seasoned " (my word) users

for their test. I wonder if that makes a difference. I read a few

posts on another site and they were raving about the " good " effects

and " at least " it made them happy. I couldn't relate. BTW, Where

do you subscribe to the alerts? Seems to be a currrent source of

info. Thanks and hope you are managing pain. Lyn
