Guest guest
Debbi, thanks you all for all the suggestions.I would LOVE a hot tub, jacuzzi or something along those lines. I am sure it would help a lot with muscular stuff. I was once even offered a script by an old rheumie who told me that the onnly problem I had was fibro no matter what NIH may have said I had (EDS). Ha , what a crock. Anyway, I can't afford that ..sooo I do take a lot of hot baths which doesn't do much for my POTS though!! Mike, I will try the trigger points. They are sore along the inside edges of my knee, especially downn a little towards the upper part on the inside. Does that make sense? I guess that it is really AT the knee rather than in it. It used to only hurt in the front for many many years. It would hurt when I woiild sit which it still does but now it hurts when I bend, walk, twist turn, etc..It is so very painful that I feellike crying out at times. I have to physically use my hands to bend it sometimmes. I have looked for that book before and will look again. If I mistakedly stand with my knee(s) too tight or straight, it will sometimes give way or buckle I guess is what it is doing. Right now, my knees are what are giving me the worst pain and have for quite a lonng time. About 18 years ago, I was told Ihad the knees of a 70 year old and told the pain and grinding was from chondromalicia. I know that isn't very dignostic though. Guest guest
, with you knees sometimes locking, or buckling, has the doctor suggested arthroscopy to see if there might be any loose cartledge floating around? Would it be worth a thought? Sometimes a piece of cartledge can cause the knee to lock or buckle. Just a thought. Know I'm thinking of you! Oh, also, do you brace them at all? You may want to consider that as well. Love Lana p.s. PLEASE try to go to the conference! I would love so to meet you!
