Well, today was horrible. Robin and I went to lunch with our boys (they are both 4). Brody wanted and ice cream cone so after he ate his meal the waitress brought a scoop of ice cream (they didn't have cones) and he got mad and said he didn't want it so I started eating it. Then he got very angry and started swinging at me, biting me and scratching me. I have scratches on my neck and chest and hand that actually drew blood. Robin carried him outside for me and I paddled his butt. He apologized to me a dozen times in the grocery store but man, that hurt! He kept asking for treats and the store and I stood firm and didn't allow him any.

On the way home, we stopped by the bus stop to pick up Kylie and the bus had just dropped them all off. There is Kylie lying on the sidewalk with 3 boys standing around her. She had twisted her foot and fallen down. She thinks she broke a bone in the side of her foot. The boys were so cute, they ran down to 's house and got one of those really long skateboards and were going to wheel her to Steph's house so she could call me!!! I don't usually pick her up right away but felt I needed to today. Weird huh??? I am waiting a little while to see if she feels better because more times than not it is a sprain.

Anyway, the moral of my story-don't expect to have a stressfree day as the days are never as expected.....ugh!

PS Yesterday my son grabbed hold of the bottom of the garage door while it was going up and I walked around the truck to find his legs dangling 4 feet about the ground and saying 'help..........'. I was laughing so hard. I wished I had had a camera near by......LOL.

I told her to wait until tomorrow to see if it felt better and already she is feeling better so she will be going to school tomorrow...

Are we having fun yet??? Isn't parenthood a blast sometimes? LOL. I

love being a mom, don't get me wrong, but some days I just feel like

nothing is going right and this sounds like one of those days for you.

Ugh! Wonder what got into Brody that he 'attacked' you like that.

Hopefully it's just a one-time-only event and you won't have to worry

about it. What did say? It's a good thing that Robin is such a

good friend that she took the initiative to take Brody outside and give

him a paddle. I'm sure he'll be fine now. Poor Kylie! How's her foot

this morning? Hopefully it's just a sprain....sometimes they can hurt

more than a break though. I'm sure you worry though, with her bones

being as fragile as they are. Let's hope that today is much less

eventful than yesterday. LOL.

Actually, Robin carried Brody outside for me and I paddled his butt.

He gets like this every now and then but never that bad. If we put him in time out, sometimes he will try to swing at us and he has hit Kylie before.

Robin is a great friend. I really don't know what I would do without her sometimes. Brody said the other day that he has two mommies-me and Robin!! I hope he is careful about saying 'I have two mommies' around people we don't know!! Hehe.

went in a had a long talk with Brody about what happened. He made it very clear to him that that is not allowed. Brody apolgized to me about a hundred times last night and still today again!

Kylie's foot was still swollen this morning and hurt more so we went to urgent care, then to xray, and back to urgent care. It is NOT broken-thank God. He put her on crutches for a week and told her to rest her foot. I made her call all her regular jobs this week and cancel and no dance either. I think she may go nuts......; )

You think Kylie may go nuts....LOL...I'm wondering

about you!! Having an active teen on your hands, out

of commission for a bit, may make your life more

interesting!

You are right, I am already going nuts.......

Robin sounds like an excellent friend! Glad she was

there to help out with Brody. Is he still in

preschool? I can't remember...gosh that's bad. How's

Kenje been feeling?

Robin is an excellent friend. Brody is still in preschool and the teacher loves him. He does pretty well and is coming around and slowly learning.

Kenji is feeling much better now and has been back to work full time for a few weeks now. He still has to have some blood tests done to make sure it is completely out of his system though.

So glad to hear Kylie's foot's not broken. I'm sure she'll be fine once

she gives it a rest for a week or so.
