Yes, I agree. What I meant is that I need the speed because the incline out

in this area can be more than 12=20 degrees. I would think that the speed

would help with the incline. Not sure. I doubt I would be scooting along at 25

mph but when I hit a hill I want to have the power so I don't go rolling back

down the hill!

Hi Debbi,

I don't think you really need the speed to get up a steep hill. The

motor will be as strong even if it can't go that fast... :) You

should have seen me out with mine in the snow... Uphill... It does

really fine... :) Now most W/C's and scooters manuals are really

depressing reading when it comes to how steep places you can go

without tipping over. But I think they cover their ground, I guess

they won't take any chances of being sued if somebody hurt

themselves. I have gone up and down really scary steep places, but

have done fine. I do it slowly then and also regulate the seat to

shift the weight if needed...
