What I meant is that I need the speed because the incline out in this area can be more than 12=20 degrees. I would think that the speed would help with the incline. Not sure. I doubt I would be scooting along at 25 mph but when I hit a hill I want to have the power so I don't go rolling back down the hill! LOL! Guest guest
Hi Debbi, I don't think you really need the speed to get up a steep hill. The motor will be as strong even if it can't go that fast... You should have seen me out with mine in the snow... Uphill... It does really fine... Now most W/C's and scooters manuals are really depressing reading when it comes to how steep places you can go without tipping over. But I think they cover their ground, I guess they won't take any chances of being sued if somebody hurt themselves. I have gone up and down really scary steep places, but have done fine. I do it slowly then and also regulate the seat to shift the weight if needed...
