Guest guest
Oh Cindy -- I am so sorry to hear about Dylan. I will be sure to keep both of you in my prayers. I hope help can be found soon. Love, Patti Watching my boy fall apart I'm not asking for advice, I know there isn't much to give. I'm just letting out some frustration. My husband woke me up at 4AM saying he thought he heard Dylan pounding on the wall. I got up and found him on the laundry room floor. He couldn't get up. I had my husband lift him up by his chest to avoid hurting his shoulders, and help him to bed. This is the first time he has fallen and not been able to get up. He was in too much pain and upset to tell me what made him fall this time, I assume his right knee gave out again. I will get him a walker tomorrow, and a urinal in his room today. This just breaks my heart. It's all just to fast for us to handle. I look back a little over a year ago and he played Basketball in the driveway with friends laughing, now his days are full of pain and fear, and depression. I just have to get him help. Cindy C. Guest guest
Ohhh Cindy :,-( Whats a Mom to do? :,-( I hope tomorow is a better day for both of you. What an awful thing to happen. Embarassing and painful for Dylan, and so hard for you and your husband :-( Sounds like the walker is a good idea. The stablest one the store sells. As always, I'm thinking of you two. Big (((HUGS))) -Rhea PS. Here's another task idea for your lab. " Go get Mom " . Might be safer if you can manage to teach your lab to find you on Dylan's command instead of Dylan pounding the wall. Just an idea.
