Guest guest
Bowel obstructions was part of our " it could happen " pre-op seminar, private consult and signed consent. BUT who can hear it when the thought of walking/breathing/sitting, saving your knees or hips or diabetes or_______ is hurting & freedom is just around the corner. I had bowel obstruction (kink) after my first baby, normal delivery, NO surgeries yet. YOW. But no surgery then, either as it finally unkinked itself. Whew. I was too young and fresh mommy. We know NOW that any interference in there can create adhesions. The body " normalizing " in its own peculiar fashion. " Hey, put that back over HERE! " Of course, that doesn't help at the time, but it can happen, as miserable as it sounds.
