Guest guest
I dunno how many others have had this problem....but, I just went today to get my eyes checked, and was told that because of the fibro, my eyes have gotten really bad..... My eyes used to be slightly off....one was slightly nearsighted and one was slightly farsighted. Well, today, I found out that My Eyes are now both Severely Farsighted because of the Fibromyalgia, and that instead of just having to wear my glasses for just reading every now and then, I'm going to have a really strong prescription that I will have to wear all the time instead. He told me that I'll be able to read A LOT easier...but walking while wearing them is going to freak me out for the first few days. What totally sucked was that he dilated my eyes, and I drove myself the 20 miles to the place......I couldn't see anything when I left to drive myself home! Everything was blurry and out of focus......I learned my lesson.....never drive yourself to an eye appointment! My vision has finally came back now.....at 3 pm.....but they are really burning and dry. I wish I could stand to put eye drops in them myself......I would have some here to put in them to cool them off or something! oh well......I guess I shouldn't complain about a little burning in my eyes when my right side abdomen, internal and external......is killing me! I just know that our weather is going to change for the worse. But, I'll get my new glasses in 7-10 days. I'm gonna make sure that I don't drive myself that day, because there isn't any way possible that I'll drive while wearing the new glasses.....not after being told that I won't be able to walk while wearing them for a few days! Now the fun part will be remembering that I'll have to wear them constantly instead of once in a while like I have ever since I was in 5th Grade. I've only worn my glasses for Reading.....for 19 years. This totally sucks.
