- No Anti-Itch Cremes??

Hi ,

Well, she doesn't sound very knowledgeable about urticaria or

sympathetic to your discomfort. Was she sucking lemons or something?

Working on the assumption that the anti-itch creams will make the hives

worse, who's to say Cetaphil won't as well? Still, I hear Cetaphil has a UV

filter built in, so at least that'll protect you from the sun. You'll have

to excuse me if you detect sarcasm - you're not mistaken!

I can see why she would want to wean you off the Medrol, but I get so mad

when people get no support with this! I hope you do get relief from using

Dove soap and drinking 8-10 glasses of water a day combined with a nice

thick moisturiser and occasional benadryl. And to think I've had this

almost ten years and never thought of that!!! Geez!

If you feel at all unsettled about your appointment, is there any way you

can seek a second opinion? And if she yelled at you that's very naughty -

because you're not a child!

Love

Edinburgh
