Guest guest
Jill, I am so sorry to hear you're shoulder is permanently out. I'm in the same position with my left one now I'm afraid, at this precise moment it's sitting rotated posteriorly pushing my shoulder blade out of position and if I try to lift my arm it starts going inferiorly which is just the most horrendous pain I've ever experienced. I spoke with my OS this morning and he is very concerned about my glenoid positioning now, and is scheduling my scope as quick as possible (his exact words were " I will see you in theatre very soon " ) as he's anxiously to properly assess the situation then go from there. He was hoping to try thermal shrinkage, but there's every possibility that he will have to attempt an open reconstruction now from the way things are looking. I'm a little scared, but in so much pain I just want it to happen soon. I have to admit that I'm a little pessimistic of success, knowing so many people who've had procedures and are still having so many problems - but I have to try something. I will keep you posted with when my surgery is and what my surgeon decides to do. Thanks for your support and I hope you're shoulders are feeling as painfree as possible today. Love and hugs....Jo xxx
