came to get her she wassitting on the couch by her buddy Tom (my 17 year old cat) petting him

Hi Lin,

Sorry to jump in here but I have a 17YO cat too! She is Siamese and her name is Jynx and I have had her since she was born. I had one of her kittens too, his name was Bear Bear. Kinda neat he was born on 8/8/88. Unfortunately he died at 13 of cancer. Jynx is surprisingly healthy for being so old. Gee, I wonder what she is in people years? The cat lasted longer than the husband did LOL!!

Sorry to but in but you dont hear of many cats that old. Take care, Love Jai

Well I am butting in also. I had cat over 18 years old and loved him so much. Just lost him to cancer couple months ago. I hurt for him as he was such a part of me. Enjoy your babies. I have 3 cats now and love each one and their personalities. Take care all.

Hi JoAnn,

It is going to be hard on us when the old man as we call him goes, but he is still spry enough to catch a rat, which he left on the ramp for us the next morning.

Take care all
