Guest guest
Janet! Definately go to the dentist and get the antibotics that you need to get rid of that abcess and get that tooth pulled!!! I had an infection go into my blood stream before......and when I ended up in the ER because of it, I was told that if I went home I would die within 2 hours. The infection had gone into my blood stream a week before I went to the ER......so, I was really sick by the time I got there. So, please, don't let it take you that long to take care of it. If you already have the RSD and Fibro in that general area, then nothing the Dentist does can make it worse. If you explain the situation to him, he can give you the antibiotics, and the refer you to a Dentist that is a Surgeon....and you can go and be asleep when they pull the tooth instead of being awake......I found that having it done that way is a lot less stressful on a person. Tonia -------Original Message------- Janet, I am so sorry to hear that your teeth are causing you so much pain and trouble. It's very dangerous to let abscessed teeth go though...the infection does not just stay in your mouth area..it actually goes into the blood stream eventually. So please make sure you see a dentist about them and have them out if need be. It can cause infections in the jaw bone...ear. and nasal cavity because it is all connected. So please take care...Hoping you better days and a Great Halloween...Hugs..Ginny Janet Underwood wrote: Hi I just read the posts on Methadone, I too have been on this drug for a very long time, and I have had wonderful results because of it. I am going on 5 years with this drug, and I have been on every drug possible. My doctor put me on this drug because he said it's the best to take for chronic pain, and RSD and Fibromyalgia are just that. I have been suffering alot lately with teeth pain. I have a horrible abcess on the right side of my face and it has taken up the whole side of my face. I am in so much pain right now, nothing is helping the pain. I am scared to have it pulled, but I have to have dentures put in too! Of course, they can't touch me until the infection goes away, this is my second infection on the same side in 2 weeks. I am in so much pain right now, as I have RSD and Fibromyalgia and teeth pain at the same time. I am miserable in Illinois!!!!
