Guest guest Posted October 25, 2004 Report Share Posted October 25, 2004 when I told him that a lot of people are on oxy's. hydros, etc, he looked at me like "WOW" so I think I got his brain going on this..he did tell me that I'm a medical challenge to him...not just because of the RSD but also because of that spot they found on the bone on my hip and even after the MRI still nobody knows what it is..plus the cyst they found on my ovary which said is gonna have to come out (I knew that) so I guess I'm keeping him on his toes. Chrissy, I am glad that you finally got some pain relief, and I hope you will be able to get some more help. Did he tell when you are supposed to have the surgery? Guest guest Posted October 25, 2004 Report Share Posted October 25, 2004 Lin, Nothing yet on when he's going to send me to a surgeon...I know he's worried because my sister has been having "abnormal" PAP's for almost 10yrs now and keeps having cryo surgery for "suspicious cells" and I'm definitely NOT looking forward to ANY kind of surgery...I'm terrified of going under general anesthesia...but I do know that he'll have the cyst biopsied and he was talking about some kind of probing thing to see what that spot is on my hip bone...so far, the percocets aren't doing anything for the pain and they're only making me swirly headed and sometimes nauseous...but it's a start right?
