Jo -

I had my wife read your reply. There were a couple of tears rolling

down her cheeks as well when she was done (mine too).

That poem came to her in the middle of the night when we were coping

with Barb having to get her wheelchair. She didn't sit there

thinking about it, trying to compose it. It came to her in

virtually finished form, one pass through.

Counting the two years we dated before getting married, we have been

together for about 36 years now. She is very creative and very

talented in many areas. But the two things she has done in those 36

years that have made me the proudest and given me the greatest joy

have been giving me Barb as a daughter - and writing that poem.
