Guest guest Posted October 8, 2004 Report Share Posted October 8, 2004 Thanks to everyone who responded. It was so nice to feel validated and to be able to share how I really feel. Since we have moved I have found a wonderful ped. who is helping me to get into the office of a local neuro. Right now the appointment isn't until 11/19 but she is trying to work some magic for us. We jsut feel comfortable weaning the pheno without some kind of plan. She is only taking 30 mgs, but she will have been on this med for 5 (yes I said 5) years this month. We are ready for the withdrawal seizures. We have tried to get her off this med for over 2 years now. Again thank you. I am thrilled to know that people really understand what we are going through (even if it isn't a good situation) ~ mom to almost 5 year old on the diet since January, 2004.
