Guest guest
, Shan is 9. She was 6 when she began to have hair problems. Besides what Shan receives in her multi vitamin, I presently supplement Shan with 25mcg selenium. I cannot remember the dose of biotin and zinc that I gave her over 2 years ago. I'm guessing that I looked at the amount of biotin she was receiving in her multivitamin and then gave a dose close to what they recommended for adults. Her biotin tablets were 300mcg a tablet. I probably gave her 1/2 tablet or a whole tablet. The zinc tablet was 50mg. I probably gave her 1/2 tablet. There are many people on this list who could tell you how much zinc they supplement their toddler with. Rhonda Rhonda, Your daughter's hair story is amazing, I wonder if selenium, biotin, and zinc will help mine as well. We just learned Alice had a carnitine deficiency. Maybe there is other trace mineral deficiency as well. I wonder will blood test tell the story. Her neuron never heared about biotin, selenium and hair thing, so we need help from the group. How much selenium does your daughter have each day? And when she had biotin and zinc, how much quality daily? My daughter is two.
